Hi there! I just checked out your page and saw your photo - you have an awesome figure! You look very lean and muscular, which is what most people want! You definitely aren’t fat, so I’m glad you aren’t in that mindset. Honestly, I hope you’re not too caught up in the scale. You say you want to lose weight - do you mean lower your body fat percentage, or decrease the number on the scale? Honestly I think you look great and you shouldn’t have the slightest concern about the number on the scale. If you are looking to lose fat, I would say it would be beneficial for you to try HIIT (high intensity interval training) - if you have no idea what I’m talking about, definitely Google it and see what comes up! This type of exercise allows you to burn fat while retaining muscle. There are all types of HIIT - treadmill, elliptical, bike, or just home workouts without any equipment needed. Check out YouTube or just explore around on Google. As for diet, I think someone with your body type who is looking to lose fat should up the protein & healthy fats, and decrease the carb intake. I am in the same phase right now with trying to lose my body fat and I’ve decided to try and stick to a lower carb diet. I’m not very strict about it like some people are (the Atkins diet recommends no more than 20g carbs per day which to me is super low). I love to run and do cardio, so I at least need SOME carbs to fuel my workouts.
